Weekend Boys!

This weekend I had the privilege of photographing two boys that have just turned 6 months. Usually, I don't post two blog entries at once, but don't want the moms to wait to see some super cute images of their guys.

This first little guy is ready to take the modeling world by storm! I couldn't believe how many people stopped to coo and talk to this little one as we were shooting. He just drew crowds practically! He has this sweet, magnetic kind of personality -- and he just melted my heart as we would be walking and he would look over to check that I was keeping up and coming along and give me that little smile like we were in on something together!

Another set of Paul Newman eyes

Paul Newman is one of my favorite actors to watch (can't see Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid too many times!!), and his eyes are mesmerizing. (can't bear to put that in past tense) This last month I've seen an amazing amount of those unbelievably beautiful blue eyes.

this little guy's eyes are as clear blue/grey as I've ever seen. When the sun lights up his face, his eyes are so clear you can't stop staring -- almost as if your own eyes are deceiving you!

Oh Baby!

So excited little J has arrived! We had S and J's maternity session in the spring (dad plays a sax - got super cool shots!!). They came to me and when they arrived they warned me that this little guy had been up all night and we were probably in for a rough ride to photograph his newborn session. WELL.... they must have tired him out, because he went right to sleep and hardly woke up! Whenever he stirred, I would pick him up and hum and rock and he would just fall right back to sleep.

Truly this little guy is as sweet as his parents - which is saying a lot, because they really are so gracious and sweet and I've loved getting to spend time with them and get to know them a little. Congratulations on such a beautiful baby!

Natural Born Beauties

What a blast we had on this session yesterday! These twins just turned 1, so we scheduled a photo session. For my photo sessions that are scheduled on a birthday, I love to do cake and balloons after we've got our regular session in - which is what this was. When I arrived I was absolutely floored by how stunning these two one-year olds are - but take a look below at their older sister and you realize - this isn't just luck of the draw!

pink times two!

had a wonderful afternoon with this soon to be mom of twin girls - she's so calm and looked amazing for being so close to the girl's arrival. Can't wait to meet and photograph the little ones!! Thanks, M, for asking me to be part of capturing this special time in your lives!

mr. giggles and the gang

Loved getting to photograph these three! This first image is one of my favorites of the day, but it actually was probably the only quiet moment of our session!! We actually ran and played and giggled the entire time - oh yeah, and hugged, squeezed and kissed!!

These siblings are awesome together. And they don't have their roles confused at all!!! Like my oldest, sweet G is responsible and always caring for the younger two boys - she is definitely the second mom! (and speaking of moms - wow! you were great, T!! I love when a mom knows the best way for me to get amazing and fun images of their child relaxed and playing is when the parent stands back out of sight and lets me just do my thing!)

6 Months and Sitting

Love this family! Great to see them at 6 months - it's always so much fun to see how much the little ones grow and change in just 6 months. They were such sports - even in the early morning it is HOT!!!! (I guess we are just lucky we have such amazing winters and aren't shoveling snow!! - summers are maybe a small price to pay:)

it was so hot this weekend and I thought we might melt - but between breaks into the house and staying in the shade, it wasn't too bad. This family had so much love for each other - it was so wonderful to be around them. Doesn't hurt that all 3 kids are so beautiful! Thanks for asking me to photograph. You all were great!

Pretty in Pink...All Girl!

As beautiful as her mom - but with Dad's jet black hair! So excited for little L's arrival! She is one of my Bellies to Babies clients and when we did the maternity session for this family, it was obvious this was going to be a very girly session - her room is this beautiful pink and green with the sweet chandelier with the most exquisite bed linens in raw silk made by Grandma. Mom had already purchased this way too cute little tutu. Who knew she was going to have that beautiful head full of black hair!

I've posted a lot from this session, as I do with the newborn sessions. Little L is only 10 days old here and we'll be designing her birth announcement and getting them out this next week. So here's the hard part....which image(s)???!

Playdate

What a blast!! I met with this super cute family yesterday early evening and had so much fun!! Their little one was absolutely the cutest (they said she was having an off day - but you couldn't tell at all!). These three were so sweet and it actually felt more like a playdate with friends than a session with a family I had just met. Hope you enjoy the images, guys!! Loved getting to meet you all!
