Just a little walk down Park Ave

I truly feel blessed to get to do this photography thing for a living - I've been so fortunate to have met the people I've met and get to photograph friends.  It's been my experience these past 15 years that friends become clients and clients become friends - and I never stop feeling grateful for that. This is another one of the families that we call dear friends - the truest kind of friends - the ones that have your back, inspire you by their grace and strength and you just plain love hanging out with. Thanks guys - I always love seeing you in person and in front of my lens.

Blinded by the Light!

So as I got in my car after this session was over, I realized we never really left the driveway! Crazy, but the light was just beautiful and really we couldn't have asked for better light - and the backdrops we found within that few couple of square yards were so stunning - we didn't really need to venture off. So in and near the driveway of this stunning home with the most beautiful family (that beauty that radiates from the inside out) - we had an incredible session! I wish they all went this way!

I wish all my images looked like this -  true happiness! I love these kinds of moments that are captured during a session. They are the moments you'll remember.

Vintage Orlando

First of all - I have to say I adore this family! They have become some of our dearest friends and we are so grateful for them. They are sweet and kind and loyal - and best of all, they make us laugh and see the world as it should be. Thank you, dear friends - they went along with me as we went to this old Orlando Inn for this shoot and it couldn't have been a prettier location.  I love the old Florida vintage vibe!

Engagement Glow

Cutest couple ever!  Truly, these two are so in love in the sweetest way. You can see the twinkle and glow in their faces when you mention that they'll be married soon. This was such a fun session - they were so comfortable with each other in an old soul kind of way. Makes you want to go home and hug the one you love and remember how special those first years together are. Congratulations, J & M! Wishing you a lifetime of happiness together!

Love is in the laughter we share together

Maybe it's because I have four kids and love the noise, the laughter, everyone talking over everyone at times - it's like magic to be with a big family at the holidays. I know it can be a bit of organized chaos - but it's just special to all be together. Loved meeting this family and getting to capture some of their time together. And the beautiful light didn't hurt either!!  Thanks, E Family, for asking me to capture your family all together! Hoping everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

No Place Like Home...

This will be a quick post of this sweet family - they agreed to be my "demo family!" for a project that I'll reveal later (it's super cool and I couldn't have asked for a nicer family to work with - so grateful!) People are always asking me about locations - there are so many places around this area that are beautiful and offer amazing backdrops, but my favorite still is always your own home.  Most people are so comfortable in their own surroundings that the session ends up being super relaxed, playful - and the added bonus is you have your home in the images. We can add in pets, walk around the surrounding area - it's pretty wonderful.  (I know I usually gush - but if I start, I wouldn't end - there are too many nice things to say about this family!)

MOOSE!! This guy was great!  I love it when we add the family pets in - they bring a fun energy to a session - and at least a couple of giggles! It was so wonderful seeing this beautiful girl home from college and her cute little sister. There's something special about getting to see seniors I've had the privilege of photographing come home from college and hear their stories and experiences. What sweethearts! They were even game for glitter - thank you, girls! And C kept finding us the most amazing light! Aren't they so beautiful together? We captured so many fantastic images that it was hard to pick for this post:)
