Introducing the Boys!

When I got to the M's house early in the morning and walked in - the house smelled of freshly baked cookies! (I'm telling you - it was an early weekend morning - I can barely find my flipflops if I'm just being mom and not a photographer!) This is clearly a mom that has it together! Her family is so nice and the boys are all so sweet. Big brother J is amazing with the baby! These guys may look serious, but once we got to playing - we really had fun. These boys just draw you in. Could this next image just melt your heart??

Be Prepared to Fall in LOVE!

I wasn't at this family's home for more than 20 minutes before dark clouds arrived and we were chased inside by the rain - but even with that, we were able to capture some really nice moments. All of the kids in this family have THE most beautiful eyes ever!! But not just that, they are all so sweet. (I think Dad won't be getting much sleep once these three hit their teenage years - they are beautiful now, I can only imagine what they will look like as they grow up!)

Beach Bums.....not this family!!

I love getting to photograph this super sweet family! First of all, I have never met anyone who is more elegant than this mom. She and the whole family look like they are ready to attend a semi-formal soiree - no matter if I show up at 8:30 in the morning or 5:30 in the late afternoon after the day is done! I really felt this instant connection with these guys because of our unusually large gap between kids! How does this mom keep it all together and make it look effortless?? This was a great bit of play time on the beach.

Isn't he so handsome? I missed getting to photograph T last year during his senior year, so this was fun to photograph him while he was back for a little bit. He was awesome and super easy to work with! I'll post more of his "senior" type portraits in the next few days.

One Hot Mama!!!

I really think every woman takes on a certain beauty when they are pregnant - it's that glow of carrying a new life inside you that somehow is just beautiful..but when you are truly beautiful to begin with and THEN are carrying around this little miracle of life - WOW!! This is one of my dearest friends and I feel so blessed to get to have photographed her and her sweet first son - can't wait to meet the newest member of this wonderful family!

All in The Family

Today I had the extreme pleasure of getting to hang out with this lovely family. What was really cool, besides how amazing and easy everyone was to work with, is that this exact image was taken with everyone standing in the same pose as a family shot they had taken 20 years ago! I know I'm always saying it, but I love when I have those sessions where you can tell how much fun the family has together and how comfortable they are with each other - it just warms my heart and makes me want to go home and squeeze my own family! (and does this family have extra smile wattage!?! I think they all have the best smiles of any family I've photographed!) Thanks Everyone - can't wait until our beach session next year!
