Holiday Season has Started!!

Last holiday season I met this wonderful family at my Photopia One Day Special Session and so I am thrilled to get to see them again this year and see how much the little one has changed. J barely said a word last year... this year you couldn't keep up with everything he had to say! I couldn't go to bed without posting a few of the images from our beach session Sunday evening.....enjoy! (isn't this mom stunning? and I love the bright colors she picks to wear) I loved getting to see you guys again!

Meet Mr. Serious (seriously!!)

I've known this little guy for a year now (actually before, because I watched mom's belly grow!) and he is the cutest little guy ever - but wow! he is Mr Serious! He wants to get it all figured and checked out and then he wants to tell you all about it! He truly has a lot to say and he'll go on with his hands flying. Maybe it's all those math equations he's had to listen to his first year, what do you think M? that would definitely make me look perplexed all the time!! (his mom is a math genius and has done her fair share of teaching practically my whole family how to get along in math - all the while sitting at her dining table with Cooper nearby! thank you, thank you, thank you!!!)

well, jumping up and down, sweating flying, making ridiculous noises.......this looks like a smile might have started to escape! (you know in a year all we'll get is smiles and giggles from this adorable little guy - he just needs to get the world figured out first!)

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!

G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S Girls!!

Meet "S" - she's the first of these gorgeous beauties! Doesn't she have a smile that makes you want to join in - whatever the fun may be!! I had the extreme privilege of getting to photograph her and her family last holiday season. We had a great time and it was one of those sessions I could have stayed playing until it was pitch dark. When I got the message that they would be moving, it was so sad to think Miami is losing such an amazing family - but thrilled to find out that I would get to photograph "S" and her friends for a "girls just wanna have fun" dress-up session. These girls were all as sweet and wonderful to shoot as sweet Miss "S", who I will miss getting to photograph.(pass the kleenex, pls!) As one of the girls declared to me, they are fashionistas!! Thanks, Young Fashionistas - you were a blast to work with!
