HOT HOT HOT!!

I don't have to tell you... it has been so HOT!!  but for some reason this afternoon was the hottest evvvver!!  I think people passing by might have wanted to call 911, as I think both this dad and I were looking like we were about to pass out from heatstroke!  but I would have even had heatstroke to get these images!! I LOVE LOVE how they turned out! (and E - love the eyes!! you are so beautiful!!)   .........so bummed we are coming to the end of H's year!  I always love getting to spend time with this family!

I love how he's always laughing with his son! it just melts the heart to see how much fun they have together! ..... and notice below that poor H looked a bit over-heated at the end as well!!! (did I mention it was hot????)

what a sweetie! so excited about the images we got - we weren't sure that we were going to get this little one to sleep for us... but totally worth it to get these!  check out the beautiful blanket below - this was made by mom!  love it when I meet people that are still knitting, it's such a wonderful skill!  ... and really excited for our one year bday session plan!

Seriously?!!?  this kid is so cute - even as a newborn he had the most expressive face.  what a doll!

He's ONE!I

I can't believe I just photographed this little guy's newborn session almost exactly a year earlier - where does the time go?  It's always wonderful to get to see this little guy and his family.  He always has smiles for me, lets me carry him around and chat with him, and just play!!  I want to know him when he is grown up  -- I think he is going to be that total sweet soul that becomes such a gentleman in every sense and lucky for all those that get to be around him.  (his parents are sweet souls as well, so guess it's the proverbial "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree") Thank you for asking me to spend this year with you capturing these moments!

This little guy is A D O R A B L E!!!  He is just yummy -- and happy!!  I have to admit, I was a little concerned going to the shoot, because this little guy is just 2 months and there isn't a lot that they/re doing at this stage.... but WOW!!!  he had this wonderfully expressive personality, the best looking parents that were incredibly sweet --- and a dog that could be on stage!! What a wonderful way to spend a morning! Thanks, Guys!  (hook 'em horns!!)

Florida Living.... waiting for Mr. V

Of course we had to take something in front of the boat! I loved getting to meet these two.  It had really been a long and HOT day fighting off mosquitoes and the Florida summer humidity, so this was a perfect ending.  On the water, by the boat, total Florida life.  I loved how S is one of those girls that is so unaware of how pretty she really is.

bliss

this shoot could not have been more perfect... beautiful family, beautiful home, the most amazing laugh and smile I've ever seen!!  All i had to do was make eye contact and this little guy would start laughing!!  I"M IN LOVE!! what is it about a smile from a baby that feels like pure perfection - total bliss??! ahhhh..... still makes me smile just thinking about how happy this little guy was! every shoot should be this perfect!
