Super Model Easy

I love getting to photograph this family... all I do is show up and they look gorgeous, they are beyond easy in front of the camera - they make me feel like a superstar... it's all around easy! But here's the stuff that goes beyond the flat image and I hope I capture it ... I love that this is 3 strong women (ok - two are quickly on their way to womanhood!) that have drive and compassion. They are always so sweet to be around. And what is always the thing that squeezes at my heart and almost catches me by surprise - the dad is this soft soul that so obviously loves these three. He's quiet about it, but it pulls at my heartstrings. It's the way he looks at them and you can just feel it. Thanks, C Family, I always love getting to spend time with you all.

 

Welcome to the World, Beautiful Girl!

 What a privilege it is to capture a new little one... and oh! this is just the most beautiful little family. One of those times I left really feeling how lucky I am that I get to connect with the most amazing people - follow along on their journey of raising humans. Just feeling incredibly grateful and humble. This sweet one reminds me how much life is to be cherished.

Speed Dating! (of sorts!)

 I have loved getting to follow along with this family as they have welcomed their second child into their family, so I was really excited to see them for their holiday session..... which sort of went like a speed dating session!  With two three years and under, it's always better when we move fast and play a lot - so that's what we did on warp speed! These two are the most amazing parents and they played right along! Love the images we captured with their sweet family! (doesn't hurt they are the cutest family as well)

Gobble & Giggle

 You know when someone belly laughs and it's so contagious that you have to laugh out loud with them? This was this session with these sweetest of brothers.  Had so much fun with them! These two so clearly love each other and have that "best buds" kind of thing going - it warmed my heart! Wishing everyone the most wonderful Thanksgiving and hoping that you get to laugh out loud and enjoy the day with people you love!

Mr. Smiley (x2!)

 Cutest family EVER!  Love seeing how much love & creativity these two parents use with their boys. It's always fun to get to spend time with them. And the boys are so adorable - with smiles to spare! I always feel so lucky to follow along with families as they welcome new babies - it's such an honor to get to capture these moments and milestones.  The first few years just fly by and it means so much to get to catch images that document these very special times. 

I can't decide why I love this image so much .... maybe because brothers should always dig in the dirt for treasures together :)!

Beautiful girls on a beautiful morning

 I love it when life sends you the reminder that all things happen for a reason. There has been so much rain the past week, so it was looking pretty iffy that we were going to be able to make an afternoon shoot work. I was bummed - I love the afternoon light, the location we were going to is a place I've photographed at a lot in the afternoon - I knew the light. But afternoons have been tricky - so we switched it to the morning. WOW!! Couldn't have worked out better or more beautiful! Thanks to the K family for being so willing to be flexible! Such a gorgeous family - and these two beauties!  AND love love love that we did super dressy in an urban/downtown area - SO cool!!
