A Special Salute

What a truly special shoot this was! Not only was this one of my favorite and most gorgeous families I've gotten to work with (we shot J & D's wedding a year and a half ago), but this session was extremely special because J's brother will be heading out to Afghanistan on Sunday. It was truly impressive to hear how supportive his family is of his dedication and true desire to head out "to work". So - even dodging rain and battling 20 mph winds seemed a little inconsequential.
