| what a great family!! loved meeting this family -- they reminded me of us when our first 3 were little. 3 kids close together , who all look alike, with a great international history -- they were so sweet and I loved getting to meet them! Aren't they gorgeous!? |

| Happy Happy Birthday to this beautiful little guy and his family!! He turned one yesterday and celebrates tomorrow -- I'm sure he'll have a blast, because it seems to me, no matter where you put this little guy he's super happy!! He definitely is a "glass half full" kind of guy and SUCH a cutie and pleasure to be with!! Love that we used his mom and dad's teddy bears in his shoots!! They are both so sweet as well! Enjoy the celebration weekend!! xo |

| we got so lucky with this session... E is due in, like, FOUR days!! and so we really didn't have a lot of wiggle room on timing... we scheduled for an afternoon. If you've been anywhere near Miami the last week, you know that the rain has been relentless. So no different actually for this afternoon -- it actually began to pour on us! Because the timing was so tight for her little girl's arrival, we decided to try and wait it out in the car. Nearly impossible these days, but wow!! were we lucky! The wait paid off with the most amazing beautiful light and the green absolutely glistening with the rain!! LOVED this time with these two -- they are so laid back and easy to be with. Excited to meet their little one...... and that should be in exactly a week or two at the most!! |

Not sure we're allowed to do this....... but it ended up giving us the cutest shots! Love her face when I said go ahead and splash around and he waited all of about 1 second to start!!! |

| This has to be one of my favorite moments in shooting! I knew that S & A were going to have a sweet pre-ceremony with S's grandfather - they'll be getting married in Colorado later this month and he won't be able to attend unexpectedly. So they planned to have a special ceremony with him here in Miami and asked me to capture the moments. But as I was shooting, it dawned on me that they were ACTUALLY getting married at that very moment just the three of them on that dock and me with the camera --- I can't express how touched I was by the magnitude of the moments I was capturing. LOVED being asked to be a part of capturing this!! Congratulations, S & A!! If you spend your life laughing together and having as much fun as that afternoon - you'll be happy for a lifetime!! (and yes, they look like they are super young, but they haven't needed to be carded for a while!!) |
