hugs and kisses and a little bit of a family lovefest!

 

 

 

there are some sessions that just charge my heart and pull at their strings.... this is one of them.  I drove away from this family with that feeling of complete tranquility - - the sense that this is the reason I photograph and wishing every shoot had this kind of magic and sense of purpose past just looking beautiful.  Maybe it's because N is close with her mom like I am and wanted to capture a moment that might not be again.  Maybe it's because this is one of the nicest families I've met. Or maybe it's because the girls remind me of my own and it was fun to play once we thought the session was over.  I'm not sure which of those it is.... or maybe all three!  What I do know is these shoots like these always making me feel that if I never shot again, it would all be worth it knowing I had captured this moment for this family -- and loving when I meet families that make me feel inspired.  Thanks, N!  Your family is lovely!

oh yeah.... and did I mention they're an incredibly good looking family?? well, that was beside the point!
