Seriously strong genes:!

LOVED getting to photograph this family!! Every time I looked through my camera I kept thinking how is it possible to get this big of a family together and have them ALL be so blessed with amazingly beautiful genes!?! The whole family was just fun and easy - and sweet to be around! This was a birthday gift for the mom of these three guys - Happy Birthday, J!! The real gift is just how wonderful of a family you have! Thanks for a great morning!

Husband of the Year!!

Yep, this husband has my vote for husband of the year. He had watched as his wife had been cruising my blog and website, didn't say a word about it and called me up to surprise her with a gift of a photo session for Valentine's!! The sweetest family - and truly I think it was the most romantic gesture to surprise his wife with the gift card! Kudos to you, J!! Loved getting to meet you all!

It's always a blast having J with me and although I really don't like being on the front side of the camera, I love how fun these images are. These girls were great and we had so much fun!! Fairy Tale Princess

love this time of year...First Communions and these beautiful girls that remind me of fairy tale princesses in their white dresses and beautifully done hair with the veils. (although this may freak out the dads a little .... don't they almost look like mini-brides?!? I always think it looks like a little window into what they may look like on their wedding day!! ~ sorry, dads!!

this darling girl was not only stunning, but so sweet to photograph!! she even brought her own ideas and wanted to create little scenes! hmmmm.....artist/photographer in the making?!?

what a sweet gift this was for this Dad - everyone got together and did a family photo shoot - all 19 of them:!)) It was the largest group I've photographed in a family photo shoot and I can't believe, but I think we managed to cover the whole group and then each individual family unit.... and all before Super Bowl!!

love how this looks like a cross between The Thinker and that Brad Pitt movie "A River Runs Through It" - but what I really love is that this wasn't my image by design - it was this young man's idea!! It's so much fun when the kids start to come up with great ideas for shots - it makes it so much more fun to create together and I always get the most natural expressions from them!

almost to the finish line... no matter how you say it!

I had the pleasure of meeting this sweet family expecting their second little one... what a great time we had and mom was like Houdini getting into in and out of clothing changes so quickly (boots and all!). At the end of our session as we were chatting and I was asking one last time her due date - we get to talking about how she has about 3 weeks left. PLENTY of time to relax, get some more things done to prepare for the arrival - UNTIL her husband had to pop our reality bubble by saying..."well, actually, we only have 19 days left!" NINETEEN DAYS!!! that's nothing!! All the sudden, it felt like we might as well drive her to the hospital now!!!

Good luck, Guys!! Can't wait to meet the new little one!

Can't wait for this wedding!! these two were so much fun during their engagement session and totally relaxed and easy going with each other and everything else that morning seemed to throw at us! Especially since we were dodging bicyclists, runners, ING race coordinators!!::) Congrats, guys!!
