.... am off to shoot a wedding this afternoon, but just had to post a few of these so that K can get a peek at some of the great images we got of her cute family yesterday. One of my favorite families referred her ($50 print credit to them for the referral - thanks so much guys for the referral!!). Their little girl was so cute and so interested in what I was doing with my camera at all times! K just finished her residency - but the lack of sleep doesn't seem to be effecting her appearance of youth!! It was great meeting this sweet family.

one sweet family
let me introduce the R Family...they were wonderful and easy-going - and so CUTE!!! Although we bounced back and forth for dates, we finally found a time that worked and then got totally rained out - I'm so glad we found a time to book this session before the holiday week. You did GREAT, D, with the clothing choices!! The kids were amazing and really easy to photograph - but then, these apples don't fall far from the tree!!! It was wonderful to meet this incredible family.......I can't believe how much fun it has been to meet all the new families this year!

love, love, love
i'm in love with love!! i love to be around people that are in love and i love the idea of being head over heels in love with someone. i admit i'm a hopeless romantic! (i still get goosebumps when i think of seeing my guy buying popcorn at that movie theatre 27 years ago - the movie was All of Me with Steve Martin and he was wearing good ole' levis - yes, you remember when they were the sevens of years ago!! oh see.....getting lost in my own romantic memory!!!) well, there is nothing better than being around a couple that are in love - except maybe for getting to photograph them!! I love being around these two not only because they are in love, but because they are so willing to let me experiment and really play - it makes our images that much better!! -- can't wait to capture their special day in January!

Some Big Shoes to Fill!
Every once in a while I get a request of people wanting to come to me and can I do "studio". I really am a natural-light photographer, but love the look of a white studio look - so clean, crisp and the focus is always on the subject alone and nothing to distract. So here goes - my version of a studio using natural light only - with the cutest two children. These two were so adorable! (I'm still giggling that after the first 2 shots, Big Sis' declares, "ok - I'm done!" lol!!! As you can tell, we were able to talk her into a few more!
It was great meeting you all! Thanks to Grandma for letting us sneak one in!

blog blitz continued.......
I can't believe this is my 3rd year to photograph C's holiday photos! She is growing into a young lady - and I am loving getting to see how beautiful and sweet and fun-spirited she is! When I first started photographing her, she didn't even say a word! Now she giggles and laughs and TALKS!!! She is so adorable! love getting to see you guys again! Happiest of holidays and I look forward to how much more of a conversation little Miss C and I will have next year!
Blog Blitz
I'm going to start a little blog blitz......I was underwater SWAMPED trying to get everyone's holiday cards designed, finished, mailed, out and off my "to do" list! I have neglected my blog and these wonderful families the past week so I could get all the last bits of holiday cards wrapped up. (no holiday pun intended!!!)
So here is the first of my blitz - this sweet, sweet little newbie. I'm so excited that I'm getting to spend the year documenting and capturing the different stages of this little guy's first year. You can't help but think how many girls will be swooning over this one in 15 years - how often do you see this amount of hair - and not just stand-up electric hair that some newborns have - he has wavy, thick, amazing hair at the ripe old age of 9 days!! CONGRATULATIONS, S and C - he is beautiful!! thanks for inviting me in to capture this year! You guys are so calm and collected for being first-time parents! I promised I would blog extras for Grandma to see before she leaves.......so here goes.......
