The Many Blessings of Family

There's no better way to spend the holidays than with family....I love getting to meet all these big families that come together and the fun of watching all the interaction, love and laughter that these sessions always bring. Part of this family drove all the way from Houston! Loved getting to meet everyone!

Sweet Surprise for the Grandparents

what a sweet surprise this will be for the grandparents...this is the first time they've had photographs of the two kids since they were itty bitty! They were real sports and can't wait to hear what the granparents say!!

This time of year I get to photograph a lot of multigenerational sessions, and there is an energy and sense of razzing and fun that I love! This family was no exception - what a blast!!

It all started with these two....





here are the cousins - better known as Fabio and the Gang (seriously - all of them had gorgeous hair!! and eyes!! and loved to rib each other like only family can!!)

not blogging much these days... we are very grateful to be swamped getting holiday cards designed and ordered and out!! this beauty arrived in the midst of all the hoopla and boy am I glad we had time to fit her in!! She's a dream! She slept the entire time and had the perfect features and skin!! (and her grandmas are absolute dolls - AND head over heals in love!!)

more....wish I had had more time!

I really was so disappointed when I realized the little one was ready to eat and I was out of time! I could have stayed and played for the whole day with this angel!! (her skin is not touched - this is completely straight out of camera!!! wow!!)

The Car....The Family....I died and went to Photographer's Heaven!

I am positive I have tortured this family in waiting to see a sneak peek!! ... we took a small break last Sunday evening and went out to play!! AND WHAT A BLAST!!!!! the car, the family, the new graffiti ...it was a photographer's dream all rolled up into two short hours!! Thanks to this amazing and sweet family for such a fun time!!

the beauty of growing life

it is so extraordinary to get these super moody skies on the beach like I'm familiar with from growing up on the West Coast (no - not Naples - the REAL West Coast!!) Growing up in Oregon, it's pretty much a daily occurance that we get these super moody skies over the beach, so when I luck out and get them in Miami I feel so at home! LOVE LOVE the sky and how beautiful it is to get to photograph a family as they welcome their first little guy! Congrats!! So excited to follow along on this journey with you!

Treehouse Time

from boat to land....this is definitely a family I love to hang out with! Last year we shot on their boat and we created some images that are absolutely stunning...this year thanks to Mother Nature's trick on us we were on the land and no less fortunate in capturing images that show how sweet this family is with each other. We chose the front yard tree house... and oh dear! how will I edit down this gallery?!

Yes - mom teared up thinking of how special these wonderful three kids are (they're triplets... my second set in two weeks!! not drinking any of their water ...four's enough for me!:)

Love always looks so beautiful!

There is nothing sweeter to me than getting to photograph multi-generational family sessions - there is an energy and fun factor that always seems to show up! This was no exception - the only thing that seemed a little multiplied was the love this family so obviously shows and shares! How beautiful it is to see love - not the new kind, but the depth of a love that has lasted and deepened with time.

PURE JOY!

Start to finish ... these girls have spelled it out - they are just pure JOY!!! what a blast I have getting to photograph these sweet girls! (and the parents are beyond nice...makes for a session I couldn't wait to get to!)

MUFFIN ALERT!!!

Oh really, serious fun and sweetness!! This family is so relaxed and sweet and easy to be with. The kids were so kind with each other (I actually caught a few with the brothers kissing their baby sister RANDOMLY!!) This was a fun session and I loved getting to spend time with this family. Love how you can feel that they are so comfortable with each other and to be around - they made this so easy and I don't even know how I'm going to edit down!:). wanted to share them all!
