Squeezing In!

I am so glad it worked out that I got to photograph this family - they were in town for a few short days and we were able to squeeze in a session at the park the day before they returned home. I always love to get to photograph a set of siblings that so obviously enjoy each other - and these three were awesome! Thanks, guys, it was a lot of fun!

Magic!

Every once in a while I photograph a family that some sort of connection and comfortability kicks in - I'm not sure how or why - but it's like photographing old family friends and the session is just like magic! This was one of those families. I loved the kids, and the parents couldn't have made it easier. This little guy was really wanting to hide from the camera at first, but within a few moments he just couldn't contain the play in himself and we had a blast! His big sister was the greatest help ever - and she was a real pro in front of the camera. I couldn't wait to get home and take a look at what we got!

And baby makes 4!

I loved getting to meet this family - and their newest member. There is something so special about a new baby. It was amazing how aware this little one was - she isn't even ten days old! Her big sis' was as sweet as could be as well. Here are a few of my favorites from our time together - thanks so much C family for asking me to photograph!

Daddy's Girl

This dad/daughter duo definitely have a very sweet bond and you can tell Dad's in love with his little girl - but who wouldn't fall in love with just one look at these lashes?! This family was so fun to capture and I think I could have spent all day photographing them (in fact, I think mom was worried I might!!). These three have such a fun time together and you can feel their love for each other - but I'm an old softy for anyone who falls in love in high school and stays together (that's when I met my own hubby!) Thanks you guys - you were great!

Double the Fun!!

Aren't these two just pure joy? They are so happy and adorable! This whole family defines beauty, but it is the pure happiness of these two little guys that is so contagious. You can tell they are going to have fun, no matter where they go or what they do - they are just enjoying life!

Those Eyes!!

I'm not sure which I fell more in love with as I photographed these boys and their sweet parents - the beautiful eyes or those outrageous curls!! These little guys were sweet as could be.

Wonderful, Wonderful Family

I had a blast with this family this past weekend - they are super easy-going and wonderful to be around. You can tell that they have a really sweet relationship. I knew starting off , though, that this was going to be easy - the "big sis" /mom part of this family is such a special person and I don't think I have ever seen her without a smile on her face! (you know those people that just make you feel that life is pretty good, just by their smile??) The rest of the family was just as nice - and we were lucky to have her sister in town as well! Thanks, C, for all the background help - jumping, cat-calling, general noise maker and attention-getter for me!!

...you are now departing from the ship, take all your belongings with you......(lol, just have to razz you a little more - you were AWESOME!!!)

Another one of My Favorite Families....

This is one of my favorite families to photograph, they always let me be as creative as I want to and they are just too darn gorgeous!!! This time I had the privilege of photographing A's parents as well (who came all the way from Switzerland!) and they are just as sweet as she is. Have a great time together!
